I’m in the research phase of a book on American V8 powered performance machines 1949 to 1989. I’d like to include the Lola derived “GT40” production cars, which I understand to be 102. Is that the correct total? I realize specifications changed through time, but what would the consensus split be between Windsor powered cars vs FE powered cars?…….and between road-intended cars vs race-intended cars?
are superformacance gt40s “continuation cars” or replicas? as they say they are registered as gt40s?
